Falconhurst, Mt. Pleasant South, Robin Hood’s Bay, North Yorkshire YO22 4RQ

Where we are
Falconhurst is in “upper Bay” on Mount Pleasant South, one of three quiet roads comprised of large Victorian houses and some bungalows that overlook the Bay and the cosy old fishing village.
The roads are part of the famous ‘Cleveland way’ walking and hiking route and also the last leg of the well known Coast to Coast walk.
The village shop and post office is round the corner, run by Steve and Brenda who sell everything with a smile and a friendly welcome. Within 100 staggering steps from the front door of Falconhurst you can reach the bar and restaurant of the Grosvenor Hotel, and for the more adventurous the Victoria Hotel with its bars, restaurants and stunning sea views is nearly 2 full minutes away.
The Village of Robin Hoods Bay has many attractions for people of all ages and with different interest. You will enjoy strolling through the narrow cobbled streets steeped in history. Your children will enjoy the beach, with its variety of sand to play on and rocky pools to explore. Everyone likes looking for fossils and its not just the many bird watchers that we attract that enjoy the rich variety of birds that fly amongst the cliffs and woods.

Robin Hood’s Bay has its own monthly community newspaper, the Bayfair -
